Beautiful Song on Endangered Animals

"Where Are We Going To Go" is a very beautiful song you will love to play over and over again if you are a real animal lover. My own sound system is out of order, which made me drop by my colleague's desk to listen to the song. Its beautiful indeed! It is an original song written by my friend David Todds.

The slideshow has been designed to help with educating about animals - especially endangered species. This beautiful 3 min. 40 sec long song has been composed keeping in mind the animals who are about to leave us shortly if we do not think about them today. David is allowing this new version of "WHERE ARE WE GOING TO GO" to be used by non-profit organisations, schools, environmental groups, save the animals, conservationists etc who are concerned about the future of animals (especially the endangered ones) free of copyright restrictions.

Paul – the Football World Cup 2010 Wizard Passes Away

Paul the World Cup 2010 heart throb dies in Germany on Tuesday, October 26, 2007. He was 2 1/2 years old. Paul’s body is now in cold storage while Sea Life management decide how best to mark his passing, though it is thought he will be buried within the grounds and a permanent shrine erected.

Paul the Psychic Octopus shot to the peak of fame by predicting the match results in Football World Cup 2010, befoire the matches happened. Within just a very short spell of time Paul the Octopus became the world’s number one predictions source for FIFA World Cup 2010. Discovery of Two Headed Snake

Sparks flew and the news flashed out across the web on the amazing discovery of a Santa Maria snake with two living heads. The discovery of this unusual two-headed snake that was around 60 cm long even impressed even the oldest residents of the village at Matanza, Cuba. The discoverer said that both the heads were living and functional, although the right one was dominant over the other. The snake was discovered by a Cuban villager from amidst the woods.

According to a specialist "the phenomenon could be the result of a developing embryo that began to split into identical parts but stopped half way through, leaving the heads joined. Other double-headed snakes have been found in the US, Spain and Argentina."

Save Our Tigers - A Request to Ban Tiger Trade

Here's something really very important I found while looking for the Save Our Tigers video. Thanks to Metacafe for coming up with such an informative video clip as an approach to raise a voice against tiger trade. We would like to request the Chinese government to spare thoughts over banning tiger killings and trading. We would, alongside, also request the Indian government and all other governments to lay out more stringent laws for tiger security.

What this video says is....

"More than 30 organisations, representing millions of people around the world, are calling upon the Chinese government to stand firm, to maintain its 14-year tiger trade ban, to close down tiger farms and to increase investment in stopping illegal tiger trade. Losing the wild tiger will be a shameful indictment on all of us. The success of our collective desire to save wild tigers depends on action.

Shot in Tucson Arizona, where you can find deadly rattle snakes, this wild life video shows a very frightening moment- human interaction with a pit viper. Pit Vipers are highly poisonous snakes that fall under the family "Crotalidae", which is primarily a New World family. ?Very similar to the Old World true vipers of Viperidae family, the pit vipers have long, hollow, erectile fangs that remain folded back against the mouth roof. When the snake is striking, the folded fangs gets erected vertically. Check out this great wild snake video.

Bo - Obama's First Dog Officially Stepped into White House

The hunt for the first dog by Obama family has finally come to an end on April 14, 2009. It was on the very day - April 14, 2009 that the new six-month-old puppy, named Amigo's New Hope—aka Bo has made his public debut and officially stepped into the royal White House. Bo the beautiful black and white Portuguese water dog has been gifted President's daughters Malia and Sasha by Senator Edward M. Kennedy, who owns the same dog breed too!

In a statement, the animal behaviorist Mary Burch of the American Kennel Club said, "This breed possesses a lot of energy, so without training or a job to do, the dog may entertain itself by running full-speed down the West Wing or barking at Republicans." Tetanus in Dogs - Helpful Dog Video Clip

Yes...tetanus in dogs, although seldom found in dogs but dogs can be afflicted to the tetanus virus and can turn out to be fatal if not treated in early stage. How to recognize tetanus in dogs? I am sure most dog lovers and owners have not seen a dog with tetanus, and are not aware of the symptoms and treatment involved therein. Veterinary science has “off-label” treatment privileges. Off-label treatment privileges means vets can freely use drugs that have been approved for one species (including humans) in other species. But this is not always the fact. Sometimes as in te case of vaccinations etc. human medicines cannot be used. Horses are more prone to tetanus than canines and felines. Most horse breeders and owners give routine vaccine shots for tetanus - I am sure.
